Reports have surfaced that Elliot Page has filed for divorce from his Canadian wife Emma Portner after two years of marriage.
Page came out as transgender on December 1, 2020, and received an influx of support from numerous people including their wife, Emma Portner.

According to ET, Page filed for divorce on Tuesday, January 26 in New York.
Two years ago, in January 2018, Elliot Page posted a marriage announcement that read “Can’t believe I get to call this extraordinary woman my wife.”
ET reports that the couple was secretly married prior to the social media announcement.
According to Page Six, Portner is a 26-year-old professional dancer and choreographer.
Both Page and Portner are Canadian.
