An Ontario Man Thought He Won $3K In The Lotto But Then Noticed 3 More Zeros On His Cheque

A Penetanguishene man just got very lucky while playing an Ontario Lotto game.

When Christopher Irvine, a long-term care worker, originally found out he won the top prize in the Instant Triple Millions, he thought he’d won $3,000.
Then, Irvine realized there were three more zeros on his cheque.

“I couldn’t believe it. I thought there were too many zeroes, so I had to double check at the store. The clerk couldn’t believe it either!” Irvine said, according to an Ontario Lottery and Gaming release.

Irvine said he plans to spend his winnings buying televisions for the long-term care home he works in while helping his family and investing.
